Online Sales Of Apparel, Accessories Soar
Online sales of apparel and accessories grew 41% in 2005, according to research by comScore Networks.
Jewelry and watches also made strong gains, posting a 31% online sales increase in 2005.
The results underscore consumers’ increasing comfort with buying apparel and accessories online and send a strong message to brick-and-mortar merchants that if they aren’t already on the Net, they should consider extending their presence.
