Blake Leaves Burberry

Burberry President and Chief Operating Officer Brian Blake is leaving the company due to ‘family reasons.’ The former Gucci exec will step down at the end of the year, after just two years on the job.

His exit comes as the company is already dealing with a transition between Chief Executive Rose Marie Bravo and her replacement Angela Ahrendts, who begins in January.

But despite the tumult, Burberry is making rosy predictions for the season ahead, saying it expects sales of its iconic scarves and raincoats to spike as the weather continues to cool.
