Consumers Covet Gucci, Armani

Consumers around the world covet Gucci and Armani above all other brands, according to a new survey.

One-third of the 21,000 consumers surveyed by ACNielsen said they would buy the Italian labels if money wasn’t an issue.

Gucci and Armani are favored for their image as much as their style. The brands were especially popular among respondents in emerging markets like India, Russia and China.

Versace came in third in the poll, and Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior and Ralph Lauren also ranked high.
