Prada Agrees To Sell Jil Sander

Italian fashion house Prada is selling its Jil Sander brand to private equity firm Capital Change Partners.

Announcement of the sale comes just days after the latest Jil Sander line was unveiled at Milan’s fashion week, to warm reviews. The Prada group said it was cutting the brand loose so it could concentrate on its Prada and Miu Miu lines.

The value of the deal was not disclosed, but Jil Sander is set to breakeven on an operating basis this year.
