Levi's Names New CEO

Levi Strauss & Co. Asia-Pacific veteran John Anderson will takeover as president and CEO of the company in November. Anderson will succeed current CEO Phil Marineau, who announced his resignation earlier this month.

The executive shuffle comes as part of larger changes at Levi’s, including a reduction of its executive board.

The San Francisco-based jeans maker has been trying to restructure itself for some time as it’s faced increased competition in the denim market.
