Liz Puts An End To Sigrid Olsen's Wholesale Business

Liz Claiborne will no longer wholesale its Sigrid Olsen line, choosing to keep it only in its retail channel. The move could be in preparation for a sale of the brand. Last month Liz Claiborne put Sigrid Olsen and 15 of its other brands on review, leading to speculation of a possible sell-off.

Sigrid Olsen was carried at over 180 department stores, generating a volume of $15 million. The line will stop shipping after the holiday season.
